Build It Supplies, of
Tenterden, Kent, supply brand-name materials to the trade and general
public and are one of Kingsbridge Consultancy's long-standing customers.
The complexity of the
business requires a similarly comprehensive core computer system, and
Build It Supplies turned to Kingsbridge Consultancy for a solution.
After consultation with staff and management, it was clear that an
off-the-shelf package would be unable to deal with the complex demands
of the business.
Consequently, a bespoke
system was designed, programmed and installed by Kingsbridge
Consultancy, which covers all aspects of the business from Sales Order
Processing through to Stock Control ...and most elements in between !

Based in Medway, Kent, R
Swain and Sons Ltd is Kent's leading Haulage firm. As one of Kent's
longest-established firms (founded in 1918), it sets the highest
standards and expects the same from its suppliers and service providers.
As such, it was no
surprise that R. Swain and Sons turned to Kingsbridge Consultancy to
facilitate the I.T. and telecoms aspects of its recent relocation and
consolidation onto a prestigious new Head Office site in Strood.
The move progressed so smoothly that the entire relocation was completed
in only two days - a whole day ahead of schedule.
Furthermore, although R.
Swain & Sons have their own in-house I.T. support, they have
periodically turned to Kingsbridge Consultancy for ad-hoc P.C and
network support, on an as-and-when required basis.

UK
Styro Stone is the unique

Internet Domain Name dispute !

Dana Automotive SEDC
Part of the
multi-national Dana Corporation, one of the world's largest
manufacturers of automotive components, the Medway-based Dana Automotive
SEDC (Sales and Engineering Development Centre) has two main
roles.
Primarily, the SEDC acts
as the UK warehouse and distribution centre for a range of components
manufactured by Dana outside of the UK, for onward supply directly into
prestigious customers such as Ford and Land Rover. Secondly, the Dana
SEDC also has a highly regarding engineering function, widely renowned
throughout automotive circles.
Kingsbridge Consultancy
provides the Dana Automotive SEDC with a range of IT services.
Activities have included everything from project managing the
implementation of the Corporation's standard Financials software,
together with ERP and EDI solutions, through to desktop software
installation and user support. In addition, other activities have
included staff training, server migrations, installation of IP-based
security cameras and a whole host of other projects too numerous to
mention.
